Cervix, colorectal, testis and few cases of ovarian cancers showed moderate to strong nuclear staining. Few cases of glioma, melanoma, breast, lung, prostate, thyroid, skin and urothelial cancers displayed moderate immunoreactivity. Remaining cancer tissues were weakly stained or negative.
Moderate to strong nuclear immunoreactivity was observed in lymphomas, colorectal and testicular cancer as well as several cases of cervical and gastric cancer. Other cancers showed moderate nuclear positivity in a fraction of cells or were negative.

Description
Helicase, lymphoid-specific (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene encodes a lymphoid-specific helicase. Other helicases function in processes involving DNA strand separation, including replication, repair, recombination, and transcription. This protein is thought to be involved with cellular proliferation and may play a role in leukemogenesis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
