Malignant cells exhibited cytoplasmic staining of varying intensity, often both strongly stained and negative cases were found within the same tumor type. Additional positivity of luminal membranes was observed in adenocarcinomas. Most cases of carcinoids, lung, testicular, renal and liver cancers were negative.
