A few cases of colorectal, renal, endometrial and pancreatic cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic and membranous staining. Remaining malignant cells were weakly stained or negative.
Weak to moderate cytoplasmic and occasional membranous immunoreactivity was displayed in several renal cancers along with a few cases of pancreatic, endometrial and colorectal cancers. Remaining malignant cells were in general negative.
Malignant cells exhibited weak to moderate cytoplasmic and occasional membranous immunoreactivity. Thyroid cancers showed strong staining. Several cases of malignant lymphomas and a few cases of testicular cancers were negative.
Most malignant cells were moderately stained. Several cases of endometrial, thyroid and colorectal cancers showed strong immunoreactivity. Testicular and hepatocellular cancers were negative in several cases.
This gene encodes the cytosolic form of a metalloaminopeptidase that catalyzes the cleavage of the N-terminal amino acid adjacent to a proline residue. The gene product may play a role in degradation and maturation of tachykinins, neuropeptides, and peptide hormones. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.[provided by RefSeq, Nov 2009]
