Cancer tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity and additional membranous staining in a few cases. Few cases of duct carcinoma of breast, ovarian and renal cancers displayed strong positivity. Few cases of colorectal cancers displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and membranous positivity. Gliomas and lymphomas were negative.
Cancer tissues displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining. Membranous positivity was observed in colorectal cancers. Several cases of gliomas, lymphomas, skin and cervical cancers were weakly stained or negative.

Description
ATP-binding cassette, sub-family C (CFTR/MRP), member 10 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intra-cellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White). This ABC full-transporter is a member of the MRP subfamily which is involved in multi-drug resistance. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Nov 2010]
