Most cancer tissues showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic and membranous staining with additional nucleolar immunoreactivity in several cases. Several cases of gliomas, lymphomas, hepatocellular carcinomas and renal cancers were negative.
Cancer tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining. Rare cases of gliomas, liver, renal, urothelial, colorectal and breast cancers were strongly positive. Most of the lymphomas, skin and stomach cancers were negative.
GENE INFORMATION
Gene name

Synonyms
SDPIII
Description
Protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons 3 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
This gene is a member of the protein kinase C and casein kinase substrate in neurons family. The encoded protein is involved in linking the actin cytoskeleton with vesicle formation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, May 2010]
