Cancer cells generally showed weak to moderate immunoreactivity. Strong staining was observed in lymphomas and basal cell carcinomas in skin as well as cases of melanomas, endometrial, ovarian, testicular and urothelial cancers.
Cancer cells displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity.
GENE INFORMATION
Gene name
OXSR1 (HGNC Symbol)
Synonyms
KIAA1101, OSR1
Description
Oxidative stress responsive 1 (HGNC Symbol)
Entrez gene summary
The product of this gene belongs to the Ser/Thr protein kinase family of proteins. It regulates downstream kinases in response to environmental stress, and may play a role in regulating the actin cytoskeleton. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
