Most cases of prostate cancers along with fractions of cases in other cancers displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic and/or membranous staining as well as extracellular positivity. Remaining cancers were generally negative.
A majority of cancer tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Several cases of gliomas, melanomas, lung, renal, skin and urothelial cancers were negative.
Cancer tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining. Rare case of colorectal cancer was strongly positive. Several cases of gliomas, lymphomas, carcinoid, lung, renal, cervical and prostate cancers were negative.
Moderate to strong nuclear staining and positivity of nuclear membranes was displayed in most colorectal cancers and lymphomas, and a few cases of stomach and breast cancers. Rare skin cancers showed distinct cytoplasmic and membranous staining, and liver cancer displayed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Most other normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.

Entrez gene summary
This locus represents naturally occurring read-through transcription between the neighboring RPS10 (ribosomal protein S10) and NUDT3 (nudix (nucleoside diphosphate linked moiety X)-type motif 3) genes on chromosome 6. The read-through transcript produces a fusion protein that shares sequence identity with each individual gene product. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2011]
