Trophoblasts in placenta showed strong cytoplasmic and membranous staining. Smooth muscle and basal layer in epidermis showed strong cytoplasmic positivity. Distinct staining was observed in endothelial cells in the CNS. Glial cells in CNS, heart muscle, squamous epithelia, exocrine pancreas, epididymis, Leydig cells displayed moderate cytoplasmic and/or nuclear membranous immunoreactivity. Other normal tissues were in general weakly stained or negative.
