Normal tissues generally displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Nuclear staining was observed in subsets of neurons. Bile ducts, intercalated ducts in pancreas and salivary gland were strongly stained. Lymphoid tissues were generally negative.

Respiratory epithelium of bronchus, fallopian tube, renal tubules, exocrine pancreas and endometrial glands showed strong cytoplasmic and membranous staining. Neuronal cells of cerebral cortex and squamous epithelium of esophagus displayed moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Remaining normal tissues along with stroma were negative.
