Most normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity with additional membranous staining in a few cases. Intercalated discs of heart myocytes were strongly stained. Cells of CNS and lymphoid cells were mostly negative.

Moderate cytoplasmic positivity was displayed in breast myocytes, small intestinal glands, nasopharynx, vagina and smooth muscle cells. Additional nuclear staining was observed in adrenal gland, renal tubules and hepatocytes. Intercalated discs in heart myocytes were distinctly stained. Strong cytoplasmic positivity was exhibited in Leydig cells. Remaining normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.

The superficial layers of squamous epithelum showed distinct cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity while urothelium showed weak membranous positivity. Heart muscle displayed strong staining in intercalated discs. Remaining normal tissues were in general negative.
